Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring water or chicken broth to a boil. Add salt to taste.
- Stir in the grits and reduce heat. Cook until thickened, approximately 5 minutes.
- Mix in the butter and heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
- While the grits are cooking, pat shrimp dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
