Instructions

- In another bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add granulated sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time to the butter mixture while mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternately with milk until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Spoon batter into prepared cupcake liners about two-thirds full. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let them cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
- Gradually add sifted powdered sugar and cream cheese, mixing until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
