Instructions
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper. Pulse until you achieve a coarse mixture.
- Transfer to a bowl and stir in the egg until well combined. Form small patties or balls.
- Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer instructions.
- Prepare waffle mix by combining it with water and an egg in a bowl until smooth.
- Let falafel patties rest for about 10 minutes while cooking the waffles.
- Pour batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook according to instructions until golden brown.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook falafel patties until crispy on both sides, about three minutes per side.
- Stack a fluffy waffle high with crispy falafel and drizzle generously with tahini sauce. Serve hot.
