Description

Indulge in these flaky Spinach Puffs filled with creamy spinach and cheese, perfect for any occasion or a simple snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package frozen puff pastry (2 sheets)
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or feta cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté fresh spinach until wilted (about 3-5 minutes). Drain moisture by squeezing it in a clean kitchen towel.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine drained spinach, cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Thaw puff pastry sheets and roll out on a floured surface. Cut into squares (approximately 3×3 inches).
  5. Place about one tablespoon of filling in the center of each pastry square. Fold opposite corners to create triangles and press edges firmly to seal.
  6. Place puffs on the prepared baking sheet and brush tops lightly with an egg wash (whisk one egg with water). Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
