  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tbsp)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve half a cup of pasta water before draining.
  3. 3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil.
  4. 4. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about one minute—avoid browning.
  5. 5. Toss in the shrimp and red pepper flakes; cook until shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
