Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil.
- Once hot, add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until combined.
- In the same skillet, add sliced apples and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until soft.
- Return the seared chicken to the skillet with apples. Pour the glaze over everything.
- Simmer for an additional 5 minutes until the glaze thickens.
- Transfer to plates and drizzle any remaining glaze over the chicken and apples before serving.
