Experience a flavor explosion with these crispy Jalapeno Cheese Poppers, where spicy jalapenos meet creamy cheese for the perfect party snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 fresh jalapenos
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg (beaten)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lightly spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Slice each jalapeno in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. For more heat, leave some seeds in.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and salt until well blended.
  4. Generously fill each jalapeno half with the cheesy mixture, packing it in tightly.
  5. Dip each stuffed jalapeno into the beaten egg, then roll it in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  6. Place the poppers on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
