- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until combined.
- Marinate the chicken in half of the marinade for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight).
- In an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, sear the marinated chicken for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for five minutes before slicing and garnish with chopped green onions.
