  • 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until combined.
  4. Marinate the chicken in half of the marinade for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight).
  5. In an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat, sear the marinated chicken for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  7. Roast for 20-25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let rest for five minutes before slicing and garnish with chopped green onions.
