Description

Experience the comforting aroma and delightful flavors of homemade meatballs simmered in marinara sauce, perfect for family dinners or hosting friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-style)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs (oregano, basil, parsley)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian herbs. Mix thoroughly with your hands until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  5. Transfer cooked meatballs to a saucepan filled with marinara sauce. Let them simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  6. Serve hot over spaghetti or in sub rolls topped with melted cheese.
