Instructions
- 1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Peel and chop the Yukon Gold potatoes into quarters. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 2. Load Up the Instant Pot: Place the chopped potatoes and garlic in the Instant Pot. Add one cup of water and sprinkle with salt.
- 3. Cook It Right: Seal the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 10 minutes.
- 4. Release That Pressure: Once cooking is complete, carefully perform a quick release of pressure.
- 5. Mash It Up: Drain any excess water from the potatoes. Add unsalted butter and heavy cream, then mash until smooth using a potato masher or electric mixer.
