Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add flank steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
  3. Grill marinated flank steak for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting cooking time based on desired doneness.
  4. Let the steak rest for five minutes before slicing against the grain.
  5. While the steak is grilling, chop avocados, tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro into a bowl.
  6. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mixture and gently combine until mixed but not mushy.
  7. Warm tortillas in aluminum foil on the grill for about two minutes until pliable.
  8. Fill each warm tortilla with sliced steak and top generously with avocado salsa.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
