- 1 pre-made deep-dish pie crust
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 8 oz thick-cut pepperoni
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 cup diced onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the deep-dish pie crust in a greased baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers until soft and fragrant, about five minutes.
- Layer half of the meat mixture on top of the prepared pie crust, followed by half of the pepperoni, sautéed veggies, and half of the shredded cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly. For an extra crispy top, broil for an additional minute at the end.
