Warm your home with the comforting aroma of this tender, savory Crockpot Christmas Beef Roast, perfect for festive gatherings with family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 pounds boneless chuck roast
  • 4 medium carrots, chopped
  • 2 medium yellow onions, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Chop carrots and onions into bite-sized pieces and mince garlic cloves.
  2. Sear the Meat: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the boneless chuck roast on all sides until browned (about four minutes per side).
  3. Layer It Up: Place the seared roast in the Crockpot. Layer chopped carrots and onions around it, then sprinkle minced garlic on top.
  4. Add Liquid: Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce until the ingredients are just covered. Add rosemary and thyme on top.
  5. Set It and Forget It: Cover the Crockpot and cook on low for about eight hours or high for four hours.
  6. Serve with Style: Shred the beef in the pot using two forks. Serve generous portions on plates, spooning broth over for added flavor.
