Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups mixed mushrooms (shiitake, cremini, button)
  • 1 medium sweet onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese (full-fat)
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (thyme or parsley), chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste

  3. Blend the Mixture: Transfer the sautéed mixture to a food processor. Add cream cheese, fresh herbs, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Pulse until smooth but still slightly textured.
  4. Chill the Pâté: Transfer blended pâté into a bowl or serving dish. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
  5. Serve: Garnish with extra herbs or a drizzle of olive oil before serving. Pair with crusty bread or crackers.
