Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a cupcake tin by lining it with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Fold in rainbow sprinkles gently.
- Fill cupcake liners about two-thirds full with batter and bake for about 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
- In a medium bowl, beat softened butter until creamy (for frosting).
- Gradually add powdered sugar, alternating with milk and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and fluffy.
- Frost cooled cupcakes as desired.
