  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, and cold butter until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, toss sliced apples with cinnamon and brown sugar until well coated.
  5. Evenly spread the apple mixture over the crust layer in your baking dish.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, and melted butter until crumbly.
  7. Sprinkle this topping generously over the apple layer.
