Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, and cold butter until crumbly.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, toss sliced apples with cinnamon and brown sugar until well coated.
- Evenly spread the apple mixture over the crust layer in your baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, and melted butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle this topping generously over the apple layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before drizzling warm caramel sauce on top.
- Cut into squares and serve.
