- 1 ½ cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 20–24 jumbo pasta shells
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cook jumbo pasta shells in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain and set aside to cool.
- Gently fill each shell with the cheese mixture using a spoon. Place each filled shell seam-side up in the prepared baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells and sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil (shiny side down) and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
