Description

Classic Stuffed Shells are a delightful blend of creamy ricotta and zesty marinara, creating a comforting dish that’s perfect for family gatherings or cozy dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2024 jumbo pasta shells

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Cook jumbo pasta shells in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain and set aside to cool.
  4. Gently fill each shell with the cheese mixture using a spoon. Place each filled shell seam-side up in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells and sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil (shiny side down) and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
