Indulge in this quick and flavorful Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon, perfect for weeknight dinners and guaranteed to impress with its buttery richness and zesty freshness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (or dill)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Season both sides of the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice.
  4. Place the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle half of the lemon garlic butter mixture over them. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through and flaky.
  5. Once removed from the oven, brush any remaining lemon garlic butter over the salmon and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  6. Plate your salmon alongside your favorite sides such as steamed veggies or quinoa, drizzled with extra sauce.
